This year we are especially fortunate to have one of the country’s most illustrious symphony orchestras kick off the 80th anniversary of the island’s open air venue with their ambitious production. The ensemble itself is a guarantee of the highest quality of classical music, and they are complemented by the National Chorus, to present a stirring version of Carl Orff’s grandiose, most popular work, Carmina Burana.
